"Did you say the dress is made of silk?" Aimee asked. The ball gown glowed & shimmered. Tiny silver bells tinkled as she walked, with a dozen tiny faeries lifting up the train so it didn't touch the ground.
"Yes," her host said. "Would you like to meet the #spider?"

David had regretted signing the Better Angels up for the fashion show. He'd been on the run to help #eight girls dress & ride herd on them waiting their turn. But when the girls went out, it was worth it. Until they got the audience to demand he come out & take a bow.

I had a blast yesterday interviewing @morinotsuma for @spbu_podcast. We've been twitter friends since 2011 but this is the first time we've had an extended conversation. It won't be out for a while, but watch for it!

"Oh! Oh! I thought I'd lost you," she said. He felt for her in the darkness and found her hand. He followed her arm up to her shoulder, her neck, & her face. Then he found her lips with his and they clung to each other in the darkness. #FridayKiss
He slithered through wet grass, damp with early-morning dew. He followed a slight #depression, to stay out of view as he reached the crest of the hill. He wiped his eyes, peeked through the grass, & looked down on the encampment. He pulled out his journal & took notes.

A knock sounded. Velurri went to the door.
"They are here for a fitting," he said.
At the door was a #creature, tall, svelte, like an antelope, with a fabric tape measure round its neck. They bowed, then swept in followed by an entourage of goblins carrying a ball gown.

I've been so busy, I haven't been submitting writing to markets. So, now I've got two manuscripts back out working for me again.

"Goblins," said Velurri.
"And those bigger guys?"

"Where are the orcs?"
